New Cross Area Guide

New Cross - Property For Sale and Rent

Popular with artists and writers, New Cross and Brockley is a great area for inspiration. Capture the views from Telegraph Hill in New Cross or mix with like-minded creatives at the Brockley Mess, a café/bar come art gallery. The area has become even more popular with commuters with the extension of the Overground to the area in 2010 and this has been reflected in property prices. With picturesque parks, fantastic restaurants and cafes, farmers market and great period properties, this area has it all. Brockley’s Rock is a wonderful fish and chip shop (not the greasy kind) where you can indulge in your usual cod or try a grilled seabass and internationally recognised, Goldsmith’s University is a popular landmark in New Cross which was attended by Princess Beatrice who graduated in 2011.
